AFL Round 15 – Round Preview and Odd’s

Can the Hawks make it 8 in a row against the Cat's?

Round 15 kicks off in Adelaide when Port Adelaide take on the Collingwood Magpies, The Pies are still flying with a flogging of West Coast last weekend taking place showing that the Pies really do mean business in 2010, this should be a pretty uncompetitive game and the Pie’s will come away victors by 43 points.

Moving onto Saturday the 2008 Grand Final is on again with the Cat’s hosting the Hawks at Skilled Stadium, can the Hawks make it 8 in a row or will the Cat’s stop them in their tracks? Our tip this week is the Cats in a very close and brutal contest, which may see a few players from each side injured for the following week – This is a must watch game! West Coast host the Crows on Saturday as well, the Crows are starting their find their feet again after absolutely demolishing Essendon last week – We this they will be too strong for the Eagles on this occasion. Saturday night Brisbane take on St Kilda in a MUST win match for the Lions, or it is season over. We don’t think they are up to the talk and will go down easily against the Saints, especially with the likely inclusion of the Saints Captain Nick Riewoldt after recovering from a nasty hamstring injury sustained earlier in the season.

Richmond take on the Dockers on Saturday night at Etihad Stadium in what will be a better match than would have been predicted only a few weeks ago, we still think that Fremantle will have it over the Tigers, but expect a good contest from the boys from Tigerland.

Moving onto Sunday, Sydney take on North Melbourne at the SCG in what is a critical game for the Swan – they will just scrape over the line against North and keep their finals aspirations alive and kicking. Melbourne take on the out of form Bombers at the MCG and should come out the better team, their effort against St Kilda wasn’t TOO bad last week – and if Essendon play anything like they did against Adelaide a Demon victory is assured. Finishing off the round the Carlton Blues take on the Western Bulldogs, there will be a few sore bodies lining up for the Bulldogs on Sunday – Veteran Brad Johnson likely to not play due to a foot injury, however the class of the Bulldogs should be able to out last Carlton and get over the line.
